10 Wrestlers That Seriously Took The Piss

3. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan Talking Smack

As wonderful as it was to see Daniel Bryan be able to burst out of forced retirement to do the thing he really loved in 2018, there exists a small pocket of evidence that he actually would have been pretty great had he been sidelined as a General Manager and/or in-studio presenter.

Talking Smack's Network archive hides a lot of great work from many stars that exist today without a platform as flexible and fascinating as the blue brand's adored after-show, but the hosts typically shone brightest of all. Renee Young was typically affable and, as usual, rather too good for WWE, whilst Bryan used the opportunity to take the piss out of the bosses he'd never been less afraid of.

Whether it was derailing AJ Styles to share with the world that he was a flat-earther, mentioning a roster member's "big hog" or reminding viewers to engage via WWE's former social media flame Tout, Bryan bantered off whatever producers in his (and very clearly Young's) ears were screaming in order to broadcast his own brilliance.
