10 Wrestlers Who Will NEVER Be All Elite (And Why)

4. Charlotte Flair

The Queen of WWE is well on her way to matching her old man’s World title win record with 12 championships at just 34 years of age.

Joining WWE in 2012, Flair was a successful graduate of the NXT training system before making her way onto the main roster in 2015. Unlike the rest of the 4 Horsewomen, Flair has zero experience in wrestling outside of WWE (unless one wants to count her brief involvement in the Ric Flair/David Flair feud in 2000 WCW). Despite being the least experienced of the four, Flair was pushed ahead of the pack for years with only Becky Lynch’s burgeoning popularity in late 2018 allowing that to slightly change.

Given WWE’s commitment to Flair as one of their present day flagship stars, and her own career-long employment with the group, a change of scenery seems a slim prospect for the corkscrew moonsault aficionado.

In addition, there is her very reason for joining WWE in the first place to consider. When discussing her late brother, Reid, Flair said: “He wanted to be Ric Flair and he was having a hard time, so I said okay, if I go down to our training facility in Orlando, maybe he'll get on the right path and I can help him, and we can do it together.”

"He ended up passing away a year later and I say if it wasn't for him, I would have never found this opportunity and this is my destiny, and I spent so many years trying to save his life, and he saved mine and I thank him every day."
