10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Hold The World Title Again
5. Dean Ambrose
Shield fans waited an age for Dean Ambrose to complete the set, but when he finally got his hands on world title gold last year we were made to endure a rather disappointing three-month reign.
Ambrose wasn't completely culpable for this; mainly, it was down to uninspired booking and transitional feuds whose outcomes were too predictable to get excited about. The Lunatic Fringe first came up against Dolph Ziggler before being paired with AJ Styles, against whom it was fairly obvious from the outset he would drop the belt.
Now back on Raw, Dean has been demoted to the status of mid-carder - and while we love seeing him and Miz go at it every single week for months on end - you worry whether he will ever get back to the main event.
