10. Rusev Is One Pay-Per-View Loss Away From WWE History

We noted during some things you might've missed from this week's SmackDown that Rusev has now lost 17 consecutive pay-per-view matches in WWE. Tom Phillips said so on commentary, so this won't be massive news to anyone paying attention on Tuesday. Still, the SmackDown play-by-play guru left another little tidbit out.

Rusev is tied with The Great Khali.

Yes, everyone's favourite blonde-marrying 'Bulgarian Brute' now has the dubious distinction of being locked in the same supershow outhouse as Khali. Should he compete at WrestleMania 35 and come up short, Ru will actually take over and assume a new WWE record for back-to-back pay-per-view defeats. Lucky him.

This is not the kind of legacy Rusev should be carving for himself in 2019. Khali started losing often because he was washed up and useless as anything more than a comedy character. Rusev, by comparison, has oodles of talent.
