10 WWE Employees Vince McMahon Should Be Angry With Right Now

7. John Cena

This has nothing to do with John Cena the wrestler or John Cena the character; instead, it has everything to do with John Cena the locker room leader. On top of being the face of the company, Cena is widely viewed to be the locker room leader in WWE, especially since the Undertaker is no longer with the company on a regular basis. As locker room leader, the other WWE Superstars look to him for guidance and advice, and if they have problems, he€™s the guy they€™re meant to go to. When it was alleged that the WWE locker room staged a €˜silent protest€™ in favour of Triple H in the wake of NXT Evolution, Cena was quick to oppose the measure, instead trying to convince the Superstars to €˜keep working hard€™. The problem with this logic is, how can Cena be believed in this statement? The WWE Superstars already work hard, yet Cena is one of the few wrestlers really enjoying a consistent run at the top. Vince must probably be angry with Cena for not being able to convince the roster that he€™s right. If his own Superstars would rather be working for his son-in-law than for him, and his top star can€™t convince the locker room to support him, then Vince might feel that Cena isn€™t doing a good enough job of keeping the locker room in check. That could lead to possible anger from Vince towards Cena, but, of course, not enough for WWE€™s top man to receive any real punishment.
