10 WWE Feuds You Didn't Realise Were Shockingly One-Sided

No matter what you remember, these feuds were all one-way traffic from the start.

WWE has given fans some of wrestling's greatest feuds. Anybody who lived through the Attitude Era, or subscribes to the WWE Network, knows how many incredible storylines have put the same wrestlers against each other again and again and again.

Whether you're an Austin-Rock person, miss World Championship Wrestling enough to say Hogan-Sting, or show your age with calls of Andre-Hogan, there's no doubting that wins and losses mean everything in the biggest and best rivalries. Belts are used as props sometimes, but you don't forget who walks out of a pay-per-view with their music playing.

What you might forget is just how many times your favourite wrestler lost. With the average lifespan of a WWE main eventer getting even longer (Reigns and Rollins have been knocking around for a decade now), it's nearly impossible to keep the biggest stars away form each other.

There isn't a SmackDown General Manager to throw together a six-man tag team match anymore, playa, yet WWE continues to go to the well of sticking everyone in the ring together and seeing what sticks. That's where wins and losses are made in these feuds!

This list doesn't include the relentless number of house shows WWE puts on each year, or Royal Rumble matches and Battle Royals, because otherwise the number of matches would simply be too much, when it's all about seeing how one-sided these feuds were in real matches on TV and pay-per-view.

Buckle up.

10. Goldberg Vs. Brock Lesnar

Goldberg 3-1 Brock Lesnar.

It's a feud that somehow managed to stretch all the way from 2004 to 2018; Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg was a dream match from the moment it was teased, right up until the WCW icon stopped appearing on TV to build a storyline.

Their first match was at WrestleMania XX in 2004... and let's just say it didn't quite live up to the hype. People cared more about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being the Special Guest Referee than either man, but the main takeaway is that WWE actually had the Ted Turner creation go over one of their own. Surprising, but they were both out the door the next day anyway.

Fast forward to 2016 and they decided to give it another shot. Goldberg pulled off a shocker, taking down Lesnar in a lightning-fast 86 seconds. Fans were left in disbelief, and Bill was left at 2-0 against Brock.

The Beast Incarnate even got thrown out of the Royal Rumble match by Goldberg, so he's been given an extra victory in the tally for that; he's the only person who gets that honour on this list.

Brock finally got his one and only win at WrestleMania 34 in what should've been Bill's last match. It was a satisfying end to the story, but the final match was the only time Lesnar got the better of the former WCW man.

Somewhere, Eric Bischoff must let out the occasional chuckle.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
