7. Lana As Dolph Ziggler's Girlfriend
A few months ago, rumours surfaced online that Lana was going to be WWE's next big female pet project. Such discussion has cooled remarkably, and other reports seem to suggest that the 'Ravishing Russian' is lagging behind Eva Marie in WWE's eyes. If Eva is pushed ahead of Lana as the premier project of Vince McMahon, where does that leave her? One problem with Lana's current babyface character is that it's a tough sell. Aside from looking to get away from the tyrannical Rusev, it hasn't really been explained why fans are now expected to cheer Lana. Looking more closely, she is simply a more fun-loving version of her old character, but it's not clearly defined. If WWE's creative team book Lana to suddenly drop the Russian accent outright, it could make things worse. As things stand now, her association with Dolph Ziggler isn't the most interesting thing the company could have done with her. Bouncing from one on-screen relationship to another hasn't made her strong, it's made her look like she needs a man to protect her from Rusev.
