8. Scott Hall
Copyright: WWE nWo: The Revolution Blu-rayThe "bad guy" Scott Hall was most known in WWE in the mid-1990s as Razor Ramon. When they inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame this year they didn't even mention his run in WCW even though it was significant. Hall didn't reach the main event level in WWE, but he certainly came close. He left the company in the spring of 1996 and little did we know at the time that it was the start of something big. Hall showing up on WCW Monday Nitro in May of 1996 was a huge deal. Everybody thought he was a WWE guy. He wasn't supposed to be on Nitro. They booked him as if he was invading the company with Kevin Nash and within a few months they would align with Hulk Hogan as the New World Order. Most of his WCW run was pretty good, but alcohol problems interfered and his final days in the company weren't great. When Hall returned to WWE in 2002 he only had a brief stay. They booked him as Hall, not Ramon and he only stuck around for about four months before being released because they had a hard time trusting him due to the personal demons he had. If he had a better return to WWE he'd be higher on the list. At least he was able to clean his life up and make it into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
