10 WWE Wrestlers Who Will Be Top Stars By The End Of 2021
4. Raquel Gonzalez
It's fair to say that Dakota Kai's right hand woman, Raquel Gonzalez, got off to something of a slow start on the black and gold brand.
Spending more time interfering in contests on behalf of her pal than actually throwing down in the ring during the first few months following her NXT Takeover: Portland re-emergence in January 2020, the former Reina Gonzalez would only take part in her first one-on-one NXT encounter, a losing effort against Tegan Nox, in April.
After a few more months of playing second fiddle to 'The Captain of Team Kick', though, Gonzalez began to finally catch fire on the back of an epic battle with Rhea Ripley and match-winning performance inside of the WarGames structure. Said rivalry with Ripley helped elevate Gonzalez to the point where she is now being positioned as the star actually capable of seizing the NXT Women's Championship from the dominant Io Shirai.
Regardless of whether or not she wins the big one at Stand and Deliver, it seems like only a matter of time before Gonzalez assumes her place at the top of the best women's division on the planet.
