8. Low Ki

Selected Career Accomplishments: NXT Season 2 Winner (WWE); 4 Time X-Division Champion & 3 Time World Tag Team Champion (TNA); 1 Time World Champion (ROH) Low Ki was the very first ROH World Champion and holds the distinction of wrestling at the first ever ROH show on February 23rd 2002 and also the first ever TNA show on June 19th 2002. He has been there from the very beginning for both those promotions, dividing his time between them, Japan and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla before signing a developmental deal with WWE in 2008. WWE fans with keen memories may remember him from his stint on NXT Season 2 as Kaval, where he actually won the show (this was back when NXT was a strange hybrid of reality show and scripted wrestling show). Kaval then had an extremely short stay on the main roster, debuting on Smackdown on September 10th 2010 and being released from his contract on December 23rd. His one and only PPV appearance was at Survivor Series that year in an unsuccessful challenge for Dolph Ziggler's Intercontinental Championship. WWE never seemed to see the value in Low Ki, whose dynamic arsenal of high flying moves mixed with proficient technical wrestling abilities make him a joy to watch in the ring. Luckily, TNA did see him as a star and he returned to the company in 2014, recently turning heel and aligning himself with the villainous MVP.
