12 WrestleMania 35 Match Predictions Following WWE Elimination Chamber 2019

4. Finn Bálor Vs Drew McIntyre

If Drew McIntyre can get over the current hump of being a poor tribute act to himself of six months ago, he may yet avoid the Andre The Giant Battle Royal obscurity likely planned for his former Dogs Of War compadres. An Intercontinental Title clash with Finn Bálor may not be the main event-level dream match he had in mind back in the hazy Autumn of 2018, but it's a superior option than anything else currently open to him.

Finn's victory over Bobby Lashley didn't technically come over Bobby Lashley, but working on the assumption that 'The Almighty' is definitively put to the sword before the 'Show Of Shows' frees up Bálor for something better on the 'Grandest Stage'.

'The Scottish Psychopath' wasn't exactly hitting form when he fell to the new Champion in December, but the megapush he received before that last year speaks to a company that still knows how to handle a man of his size and stature if and when they can be bothered. The secondary strap isn't what it was, and no pretend promo from either of these will promote it. The match, however, might just keep up the pretense.
