13 Current WWE Superstars Destined For The Hall Of Fame

11. Kane

Kane WWE Champion World Heavyweight Champion ECW Champion Most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble (2001) For a superstar that has since his debut been intimately linked to another established star, it is quite astonishing that Kane has been able to forge his own legacy and character in the fifteen years he has been with the WWE. Having one of the most memorable debuts in company history when he invaded the first ever Hell in a Cell match to attack his brother The Undertaker, Kane has brought his mix of hell, fire and brimstone to every arena he has set foot into. Initially a mute, masked monster, over time Kane has gained a voice and a personality, lost his mask, and then donned the red mask once again. Whilst predominantly maintaining the demonic character that best suits him, he has also demonstrated elements of comedy and emotion that has added dimension to his character as the years went by. Since his immediate feud with Undertaker, Kane has engaged in many memorable feuds with other superstars, as well as partnerships with other strange bedfellows. Whilst not all of these feuds have been entirely tasteful (eg. Snitsky, Katie Vick), his matches against the likes of The Rock, Randy Orton, Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio have shown his ability to put on a dominant match with his opposition. Whilst power is his main asset in the ring, Kane is also effective from the air which adds an extra dimension to his matches. Kane, despite his loner status and maniacal personality, has also formed successful tag team alliances with Undertaker, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, the Hurricane and most recently, his comedic partnership with Daniel Bryan. He is also somewhat of a lothario, with divas such as Tori, Terri Runnels, Lita and AJ Lee among his past admirers. As he so often puts it, "chicks dig the mask". The fact of the matter is that Kane has been a staple of the WWE since 1998, and in spite the supernatural elements of his character, became one of the cornerstones of the Attitude Era and beyond. Kane has been employed as a talent to put over new superstars, as a dominant monster that steamrolls through his opposition, and a constant nagging threat in the title picture, which is demonstrated by his two World title reigns being over a decade apart. The gimmick that he has carried for the majority of his career has probably exceeded its expiration date many times over, and from being originally designed as a foil to his brother, Kane has been able to forge his own path and story in the WWE, one that should make him a guaranteed Hall of Famer.
