15 Awesome WWE Sagas To Binge-Watch On Netflix Over Christmas
1. The Bloodline’s Cinema
Cinema is the word. It really, really is.
Tired of being fed rotten creative like dousing Baron Corbin in dog food, Roman Reigns took a stand in 2020. Firstly, he vanished for valid health concerns mid-COVID pandemic. When he returned at SummerSlam later that year, Reigns was a reborn 'Tribal Chief' and 'Head Of The Table'. What followed was a story that's actually still going on over 5 years later in 2025.
Reigns was joined by Paul Heyman. Together, they formed The Bloodline. The Usos came on board after a lot of in-fighting, and Solo Sikoa was drafted up from NXT to become part of proceedings. Perhaps the best thing about The Bloodline saga is that Sami Zayn muscled his way in to become an 'Honorary Uce'. That was supposed to be a 2-week subplot at best, but Sami eventually became a full on member of the faction.
Following years of peerless heel work atop the card, Roman turned babyface. This time, very much unlike his forced run between 2014-2019, Reigns was embraced by the fanbase. It was they who turned him, after all. Now, as the 'OTC', Roman is fully deserving of the 'Big Dog' tag he once barked to apathy.
Going right back to the start by watching Roman's return at SummerSlam 2020 will keep you warm this winter. Throw in matches vs. Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, John Cena, Zayn and more, and you've got a near endless amount of killer content.
Top Recommendation: Reigns vs. Sami at Elimination Chamber 2023 and Roman's loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 should be near the top of your list.
