15 Things We Learned From WWE Unreal
9. Tiffany Stratton Had To Apologise To Charlotte Flair
The 4 April 2025 edition of SmackDown will go down in history as one of the most awkward to witness. There, both Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton went off-script during their face to face before working as title rivals at WrestleMania 41. It was messy. Firstly, Flair was rattled by a rowdy live crowd and struggled to speak over them. Then, Tiffany blasted her with a barb about her real-life marriages going south. It was nasty, uncalled for and unscripted.
Triple H was not chuffed when he learned that both Stratton and Flair had gone into business for themselves. There wasn't any comeback on Charlotte yelling that Ludwig Kaiser was "in [her] DMs", but Unreal did show Hunter having a word with Stratton and a WWE producer about her part in things. He requested that Tiffy apologise to Flair for the divorce-related stuff.
"That's not how we do this", he told others.
What a train wreck of a segment, and one that's truly painful to watch back again. Stratton must've given one heck of an apology though, because she and Charlotte appeared to be back on good terms behind the curtain after working together in Las Vegas. They hugged, thanked one another for the match, asked if the other was OK, and Flair even called Tiffany a real star in the making.
Triple H came across as a measured but disciplinary figurehead when chatting with Stratton. He doesn't mind fiery exchanges, but he didn't want anybody's feelings to get hurt for real outside the context of a shoot-style wrestling promo. Fair enough, and credit to Netflix for including all of this context.
