15 Worst Catchphrases In Wrestling History
5. "Yabba Dabba B*tch" - The Rock
Oof. It hurts to put The Rock on a list like this. It really does. Then again, when you're a human catchphrase dictionary like Dwayne Johnson -- whose mic skills were so prolific that he actually got the word "smackdown" added to Webster's Dictionary -- you're bound to have a few misses.
And although even some of The Brahma Bull's more tepid slogans were saved by his charisma and conviction ("Don't sing it, just bring it" and "We bring the whoopin', you bring the a@$" immediately spring to mind), there's not enough charm in the world to get "yabba dabba b*tch" over.
It was easy to see that Rocky's insult comic instincts were a little rusty when he returned in 2011 to begin an on-again, off-again feud with John Cena. And it certainly didn't help that his first appearances were by satellite, which made it even harder for the crowd to get on his side.
I'm not saying Johnson's excessive Fruity Pebbles-inspired putdowns would've gone over any better "in person", but it certainly couldn't have hurt.
