2 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 8)

1. That Eight-Man Tag

Holy balls, what a tag-team match this was.

This is the kind of tag that'd have Dave Meltzer rubbing his thighs if it happened in AEW, so it'll be interesting to see what he thinks of WWE's teams on SmackDown. Everything, from Forgotten Sons' aggro and the way Miz and Morrison seemed impressed by their partners, to New Day's usual antics and Lucha House Party flying around, ruled.

The closing stretch was also incredibly satisfying to watch. There's something about that 'body in, body out' approach to these multi-team tags that just clicks. Seriously, if you're in need of a match that'll restore your faith in WWE's doubles division, then this is the one for you.

It went almost 20 minutes, enhanced every squad's reputation (Forgotten Sons are making the most of their jump from NXT), had a hot finish and should whet the appetite for more in that Fatal-4-Way on Sunday at Money In The Bank.
