2point0 officially became All Elite on 19 August, but they almost landed somewhere else.

2point0, the combination of Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, was offered a contract from IMPACT Wrestling upon their WWE release in June.

They revealed as such during a live stream on their YouTube channel prior to All Out, stating the following (h/t POST Wrestling for the transcription):

"Did IMPACT offer us a contract? Um, you know, we uh...there was a deal on the table. There was some talks. We had talks all over the place. Free agency was actually a lot of fun. It's scary at first but it was a lot of fun."

Rechristened as Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, the duo made their All Elite Wrestling debut on the 4 August edition of Dynamite, teaming with Daniel Garcia in a losing effort to Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, and Eddie Kingston. Since then, they've had a Texas Tornado match opposite Allin and Sting, and enjoyed numerous victories on Dark.

It was confirmed that the duo had officially signed with AEW on 19 August, the day after their aforementioned Texas Tornado outing.

Prior to landing in WWE, the pairing made their names known in various indie promotions, namely CHIKARA and the International Wrestling Syndicate, enjoying two reigns as each company's respective Tag Team Champions. Their WWE run lasted two and a half years. Then-known as Ever-Rise, Matt Martel (Lee) and Chase Parker (Jeff) barely scratched the surface, being constrained to card fodder for more experienced tandems.
