1. Edge’s Return

Arguably, Edge's return was the only real newsworthy moment of the entire show.

Not many fans would've predicted that the 'Rated-R Superstar' would come out and attack Roman Reigns to end this week's SmackDown, and that's a credit to the booking; genuine surprises are few and far between these days, so it was neat to see WWE spring one here.

Yes, everyone knew Edge would be back at some point, but nobody knew exactly when. He's a high-profile opponent that justifies Reigns showing up for Money In The Bank as well - that might not have been true had they gone with Jimmy Uso in the challenger role instead.

Now, assuming they've got something even bigger in mind for SummerSlam, WWE can book that one-on-one Edge vs. Roman classic and move on to someone like John Cena in August. Edge is pretty good at this comeback king thing, isn't he?
