Pro wrestling is written off as mere soap opera. That isn't strictly true, or at least it wasn't once upon a time; at WrestleMania VII, after losing his career to the Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage recovered his personal life in a rare tear-jerker of an unabashed happy ending, a triumph of joy unaffected by schlocky twists.
