1. Becks Sold Her Soul

“An eye for an eye, a throat for a throat.”

It’s taken what seems like forever, but Becky Lynch finally is disliked by fans. All it took was eight months of relentless pushing and heeling it up while pitting her against the biggest babyface they could find on Raw, the woman Becks initially turned heel on.

Lynch cut a scathing promo Monday night bragging about putting Bianca Belair on the shelf with an injured throat last week. She talked about how she pledged to do whatever she could to regain the title she never lost – even sell her soul. She stared at her title and invoked Gollum for God’s sake.

It was the kind of megalomaniacal promo she needed to cut – delusional, insecure, overconfident, obsessed. She was all of that, and she hit her points solidly.

But one thing she didn’t have to do was rile up the fans to get them to boo her. If this holds, Belair stands poised to be a huge conquering heroine come WrestleMania.
