https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DALNJ3Tn_1w The trilogy is over, and WWE's 'Getting to Know Finn, Getting to Know All About Finn' mini-series of deferential video packages ended last night with part 3 focusing on Finn's time with in NXT and the build towards his match with Kevin Owens. It was a little schmaltzy, a little long, but perfectly fine, very much the Return of the Jedi of the trilogy. It's not the ideal way to build a hot feud, but with a deficiency of in-ring encounters between the two men in the lead-up to the Tokyo special broadcast on Saturday, the docu-series did its job admirably. It painted Finn Balor as a humble, yet hugely talented guy, who's worked his tail off to get to the WWE after committed himself to NJPW in a huge way. The videos made it seem like he's been waiting his entire career for this one match, which is exactly the level of hype a championship feud should aspire to reach. It's been a shame that the feud never really kicked into a second gear between the ropes, but it's hard to imagine any fan watching 'Who is Finn Balor' and not feeling pumped for a potential title change in Tokyo. The only criticism that could be levelled at the video series is that it makes a title change seem too certain. Indeed, Finn becoming champion seems to be the inevitable conclusion to the story NXT are telling, which might rob the match itself of a lot of drama. But...
