1. Lucha Dragons Vs. Kidd & Cesaro Was One Of Best Tag Matches This Year
Tag team wresting is making a bit of a comeback this year and we saw an example of that on Smackdown this week with the Lucha Dragons taking on the team of Kidd & Cesaro. Outside the ring, the other four teams in the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday were at ringside serving as lumberjacks although they didn't do much aside from a mild distraction from Xavier Woods for the finish. It was more about the action inside of the ring as four talented in-ring performers did an amazing job of putting on a very entertaining match. Even though Kidd and Cesaro aren't the tag champions they really are the best team. They never have a bad match, the crowd reacts to everything they do and they have amazing chemistry. The Lucha Dragons are also exceptional in the ring, especially Kalisto, who is like nobody else in WWE right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0ys2v3Vd4E If you missed Smackdown, do yourself a favor and watch this match that was given about 15 minutes with lots of action. Not only is it worth your time, but it's also proof that WWE's tag teams are ready to step up and have some of the best matches in the company when given a chance. It's much different from what happened on Monday when they had a rushed match that ended quickly because everybody got in attacks after the match was over. Lucha Dragons got the win, which is smart booking because they could use the win. It's likely that New Day will retain the titles at Elimination Chamber, but it wouldn't be a bad thing if Kidd/Cesaro got their titles back either. This match was the biggest "up" because it was the best match on WWE TV this week and an example of how great WWE's tag division could be.
