Cesaro and Sheamus have notched a couple of uncoordinated victories over jobber tag teams since being thrown together. There’s still some bad blood between the two and they’re having trouble working as a team, but if they can get it together, they’ll be a force. Cesaro and Sheamus are two of Raw’s biggest bruisers, and if they’re able to put their differences aside, they’ll be an intimidating proposition for any time.

They’re set to challenge for The New Day’s WWE Tag Team Titles are Hell in a Cell, and last night saw Cesaro and Kofi Kingston engage in a singles match. All five men were at ringside, and it descended into chaos close to the end. With Sheamus fighting Big E and Xavier Woods on the outside, Cesaro was distracted, and Kofi put him away with a sly small package.

Cesaro looked like he was in control of the match until Sheamus grabbed Francesca II to kick the brawl off. Ultimately, the Swiss Superman dropped the match because of his tag partner’s actions, and that doesn’t bode well for either man. They’re going into a big time match with the most dominant and cohesive tag team in recent memory, and while they’ve got the size and strength advantage, Cesaro and Sheamus are miles behind The New Day as a functional unit.
