6 Reasons Why Canadians Should Be Excited About WWE Network

3. Ten Year Agreement Is A Very Positive Sign

It's a great thing to know that WWE isn't going anywhere on Canadian television. Part of the agreement saw WWE sign a ten year deal with Rogers to air WWE programming on the Sportsnet 360 channel that it is currently airing on. During the 1990s and early 2000s it was on The Sports Network (known as TSN), but then it moved to The Score in the 2000s. The Score was bought out by Rogers and now it's called Sportsnet 360. In addition to Raw and Smackdown, NXT has been airing on Canadian TV since its early days. Main Event hasn't been shown in Canada, but we'll get it now. Both Raw & Smackdown are replayed at midnight after they air and then on Saturdays they also show both shows. There's even a weekend show that has highlights of all the key happenings. There's also the Aftermath TV show at 10pmET on Fridays that has a panel discussing things in WWE. The way Sportsnet 360 covers WWE is fantastic. It's not the same in the US because of all the replays we get if we happen to miss it. Knowing that we have that agreement in place for the next ten years is wonderful for Canadian wrestling fans.
