5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

3. That’ll Do, KO

Look, at least WWE didn’t default to, “I don’t owe any of you an explanation.”

Kevin Owens turned heel last week by attacking Big E after losing his match against Seth Rollins. There were plausible reasons we as fans could ascertain, but we needed to see how the crack WWE writing staff scripted it.

Fortunately, KO came out Monday and basically said it was a self-fulfilling prophecy from Big E and everyone else. E and others said they didn’t trust Owens – despite KO being a pretty solid babyface for the past two years – which caused Kevin to snap finally last week. Owens said the perception of him was now a reality and if everyone was going to say he’s a liar anyway, why should he fight it? He can be the bad guy everyone says he is.

Very simple stuff, but it makes sense enough, especially to Owens’ character, which really is the most important part of this equation. And really, that’s all we could have asked for here.
