5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

2. Big E Coming Into His Own

Regardless of how convoluted the opening 40 minutes of Raw was, if you sifted through the crap, you could find some gems in there.

Big E really has come into his own on the mic as a solo act, and fans clearly love him. He opened Raw and upon mentioning the mere fact that he’s WWE Champion, fans lost it and cheered. He then lit into Roman Reigns for attacking King Woods, promising to beat him “like you stole something.”

It was a short, passionate and solid opening salvo from E. And after both impromptu matches finished, Big E got his shots in on the Usos (who had jumped him earlier), laying out Jey with a Big Ending and telling him to deliver a return message to Roman.

When you look at all of that, E looks, sounds and carries himself like a champion. That’s a great thing to be able to say and feel, especially in this company at this point in history.
