5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 12 - Results & Review)

1. Paul Heyman’s Performance

Hall Of Famer indeed.

Paul Heyman was fantastic as a horrified and confused mess who's unsure what the future holds for The Bloodline. His facial expressions were on point as usual, but Heyman also knew his role on Friday and didn't try to hog the spotlight mid-Tama Tonga debut. What a pro this man is. One of the best to ever do it.

His frantic scrabbling for answers will help pin down SmackDown's storytelling for weeks to come, which is another positive coming out of Tonga's arrival. Heyman will seek council from Roman Reigns, but find that his 'Tribal Chief' is currently absent. Hell, even The Rock is nowhere to be found right now. Paul E is all on his own.

He was visibly unprepared for Solo shutting his speech down, and even less for Tonga ambushing Jimmy Uso out of the blue. This disarray and chaos tells the story of a previously tight knit group falling apart because fallen king Roman's absence is too much for Heyman to take.

Sensational scenes.
