5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (18 Mar - Results & Review)

Downs…

4. Better, But…

WWE Raw Katana Chance Candace LeRae
WWE

At least this time, Candice LeRae didn’t insult Katana Chance’s dead relatives or question Kayden Carter’s upbringing.

Still, LeRae’s in-match heel antics fell flat again Monday night as the entire scene played out to a silent audience. Chance landed awkwardly in escaping a back drop and tweaked her knee, prompting the referee to pause the match momentarily. Candice tagged herself in and attacked, posting the knee and locking in a half-crab for the submission while Indi Hartwell looked less than pleased.

This probably was the better way to execute the turn rather than the mid-match dressing down of Maxxine Dupri last week, but it can’t be ignored that this was eerily quiet. Despite better execution, it just isn’t connecting.

It’s a shame, because this is the most actual storyline development the women’s tag division has had in quite some time, and fans seemingly couldn’t care less.
