5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 30)

Downs...

7. Rock Bottom

Ricochet Slapjack

Losing to a guy wearing a hockey mask named Slapjack has got to be about as close to the bottom of the barrel as possible, short of playing Beaver Cleavage.

Keep in mind that Ricochet is one of the most athletic, talented wrestlers in the world, someone who could have legitimately been pegged as a solid secondary champ and even world title contender. Instead, he jobbed on Monday to RETRIBUTION (since it took all of them repeatedly distracting him to allow Slapjack to hit him with a twisting back suplex) in a nothing match that was forgotten before the segment was over, as the announcers were already talking about something else before the group was done posing.

The overall presentation of RETRIBUTION continues to be a joke, as the promos are all over the map, with Mustafa Ali suggesting Ricochet stand with them, and then Slapjack saying with a straight face (we assume) that he was a “husk of a man” who was “a joke” until Ali saved him.
