5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Feb 18)
Ups...
5. Sasha Banks And Becky Lynch Interaction Just Works
It's fairly obvious what's going to happen post-Fastlane. It doesn't seem all that likely that Brie Bella will displace Charlotte as WWE Divas Champion, so the heel will probably meet either Becky Lynch or Sasha Banks. Realistically, it's got to be 'The Boss', because she hasn't had a crack at the gold like Lynch has. The tension between the pair continued to simmer on Smackdown. It seems like a lifetime ago that these women were on opposite sides of the 'diva revolution' WWE briefly flirted with. Becky was part of Team PCB and Banks was pretty much the leader of Team B.A.D. Now, both factions are completely separated and only Tamina and Naomi are still tagging together. On Smackdown, Sasha defeated former stablemate Tamina in a little over 2 minutes. A beatdown then transpired before Lynch made the save. The segment came across well, but a backstage interview between the title contenders was even better. It's inconceivable to picture Sasha and Becky losing to Tamina and Naomi at Fastlane, because they have a great intensity to their dueling promos that should continue all the way to WrestleMania.
