5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 27)

5. Still Don’t Care

Another week, another degrading promo from Stephanie McMahon as she emasculated GM Mick Foley Monday night.

Stephanie “apologized” to Mick for putting him in a position to fail, pointing out that his professional career has been in a downward spiral since her husband Triple H ended his career 17 years ago. On its face, it wasn’t a bad promo. And yet, it’s still hard to care about this “feud” between commissioner and general manager, as a power struggle between figureheads doesn’t really accomplish anything – at least not yet.

History has shown that Stephanie won’t get her comeuppance – at least not for more than a week at a time – and really, this isn’t advancing anything with current talent. The only good thing is that Steph isn’t berating wrestlers and making them look impotent.
