5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 27)

2. Nothing Matches

Big Show versus the Shining Stars. Titus O’Neil versus Sheamus. Tony Nese & Neville versus TJ Perkins & Jack Gallagher.

Add these matches up and you still don’t even get one complete bout. Throw in the short Luke Gallows/Big Cass and Akira Tozawa/Noam Dar matches and you still might not have enough ring time to equal the Seth Rollins interview and Triple H monologue segment.

Look, Raw is going to have throwaway matches from time to time, but when there are no matches of consequence on the entire program (not a single match had any titles on the line or stakes involved), and the matches aren’t quality, then you’re going to have a really tough hill to climb.

In the case of Monday’s Raw, there was no climbing this hill.
