While placing two predominantly disliked babyfaces against each other may seem like a disaster waiting to happen, a match-up between John Cena and Roman Reigns would make for an unparalleled atmosphere. Fans will be forced to choose a side and the crowd reaction would undoubtedly be electric.
While the two men have appeared in numerous televised tag matches and multi-man bouts since Reigns' debut in 2012, they have surprisingly yet to face off in one-on-one competition. Vince McMahon has been known to test the waters in the past by placing two talents in the ring together, simply to gauge the reaction of the fans. That was clearly evident when John Cena made the most of his "free agent" status to switch from SmackDown to Raw.
