6 Reasons Dean Ambrose Could Become The New CM Punk
5. He Has Crossover Appeal
Obviously, Punk is certainly no stranger to pursuing endeavors outside of the squared circle. While he has not been the star of any mainstream motion pictures, he has made multiple appearances on television show like Monster Garage and Ghost Hunters Live. He has also been a panelist on the post-Walking Dead talk show Talking Dead on several occasions. An avid sports fan, Punk has also made a handful of appearances at Chicago Cubs games, both to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and to lead the crowd in a rendition of Take Me Out To The Ball Game. And up until recently, Ambrose was missing in action due to his role in the new WWE Studios film Lockdown. One need only look at his excellent mic work to realize that his transition to the silver screen might indeed be a very natural transition. Where will this film role lead Ambrose? It is hard to say, as the film has yet to premiere. But if nothing else, it is certainly important to plan for life after wrestling.
