Collision marked Kyle O'Reilly's first match since wrestling Jon Moxley on the 8 June 2022 edition of Dynamite. He spend almost two full years on the shelf due to a serious neck injury, and recently revealed he couldn't even use one of his arms for a solid month following surgery. That's why it's so great to see him back in action.

You could tell wrestling again meant a lot to the dude.

Bryan Keith isn't exactly going to make huge waves on the AEW scene, but he turned out to be a sweet tune-up foe for Kyle. Together, they formatted the bout cleverly to keep things fairly simple without accidentally boring everyone senseless by running too slow. Still, it was vitally important that O'Reilly didn't take unnecessary risks for the sake of them.

Now, perhaps it's time for Kyle to move on and do something with the Undisputed Kingdom. Roderick Strong and pals celebrated with O'Reilly post-win, but there's likely value in having Kyle gun for Roddy's International Title soon. That's the future. In the present, it's awesome to have O'Reilly back active.
