6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 28)

1. Murderous Miro

Miro AEW
AEW

This is how Miro should've been booked all along.

The ex-Rusev needed to squash all oncoming traffic and look like a monster with a championship belt around his waist immediately upon joining AEW. Some may argue that a slow-burn approach was better, which is fair enough, but most can probably agree that the Kip Sabian/"Best Man" experiment was a flop.

Miro crushed (ahem) Dante Martin in around three minutes here, then turned his attention to some nice post-match shenanigans to help set up another title bout with fellow hoss Lance Archer for Double Or Nothing's main card. That'll be two big lads beating the testosterone out of one another, and this guy cannot wait for it.

One would say that this didn't really need to be a TNT Title match at all (AEW could've saved Miro's first defence as another selling point for the Archer collision), but that's likely picking holes where there are none. No concrete complaints with this one anyway - it was another step in the right direction for Miro.
