1. Mei Ling's Bad Breath Steals The Show

After seemingly forgetting about this ongoing drama over the last few weeks, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter finally got the chance to go to war with Xia Li and the (apparently) debuting Mei Ling. However, it quickly became apparent that Li was going to have to tackle this task on her own, with Ling preferring to sit pretty on her throne instead.

That was until Carter once again opted to get in Ling's face. However, on this occasion, the ominous figure gripped the smack-talking star by the throat, choking her out as she breathed what looked like some toxic smoke into her face. Li would then pick up the victory via spinning kick to Catanzaro's face, but you can't help but feel like the momentum has well and truly been killed when it comes to Tian Sha as a presence.

Li and Boa getting battered by the KC's a few weeks back was the first sign of a few cracks in this potentially intriguing new direction for the pair, and the sight of their apparent leader knocking out goobers with her bad breath appears to confirm that NXT are going to head down the ridiculous route with this entire gimmick.

You may have gotten a kick out of all this nonsense, if so then more power to you. But your writer wants to see Li booting off heads more and watching her evil ruler lead from the back less.
