Someone high up in WWE clearly thinks highly of Elias, and presumably not just for his guitar-playing or multitude of scarves.

The vagabond troubadour ran into fellow scarf aficionado Chris Jericho backstage and traded lines with him, before ending up on his List of Jericho. In the ring, Elias ran down a bunch of legends before John Cena interrupted and dared him to stop him.

Cena ran wild on Elias, but a low blow stopped the 16-time world champion dead in his tracks, and the Drifter then wiped Cena out with a guitar and his finisher. Just like that, Elias left Raw with one of the better nights. Sure, that probably means Cena will toss him from the Royal Rumble on Sunday, but he got a moment in the spotlight.
