Is this the final straw that convinces Vince McMahon that perhaps, just maybe, this Roman Reigns guy really isn’t the future of his company? Everyone else has already seen the reality, it’s just taking The Chairman a little bit longer.

When Roman returns, he loses his triple threat match, and then moves out of the world title range thereafter. No more Mania events, no more victories over top stars, and no longer “THE Guy", just “a guy”. Roman will have to sit back and watch as his Shield brethren are featured acts in the promotion.

Basically, he’s just a regular roster member. One they tried to push desperately, and it never panned out. The business is filled with them, and there’s no shame in admitting that someone is valuable to the team, but just not suited to carry the company.
