5. Give Axel & Dallas Wins
While The Miz is credible enough opposition for The Shield, Axel and Dallas carry so much negative baggage from the last few years that it is difficult to take them seriously.
They have only 10 televised wins between them in 2017 (none in singles competition or as a duo on RAW, and two of Axel’s wins on WWE Main Event were against Dallas). Their previous gig in The Social Outcasts relegated them to a comedy act, which almost always lost.
Even now, with this big match on the horizon, WWE fed them to the makeshift team of Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan on RAW. How is anybody going to view the Miztourage as a threat, if they keep losing to opponents far below the calibre of Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns?
Axel and Dallas are in need of a dominant winning streak as a twosome, away from the Miz. They need to be booked to beat the likes of Hardy and Jordan, Heath Slater and Rhyno and Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil to generate some desperately-needed momentum.
