There is a big chance that this match will take place on NXT TV before we get to Houston. If Tommaso Ciampa makes a miraculous recovery over the next few months then booking the #DIY match makes total sense, but the 'Sicilian Psycho 'is reported to be out until March 2018. It isn’t going to happen.

As such a stop gap needs to be found for Gargano, and a continuation of his rivalry with Almas could be the way forward. Candice LeRae is currently involved in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, and she has been too good for too long to not be featured on bigger stages. The time has come for her to move to NXT, and what better way of introducing her than by aligning her with her real-life husband?

Zelina Vega has been instrumental in re-focusing Andrade Almas on what is happening inside the ring recently. Vega has wrestling experience herself, even winning the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships in 2011 alongside current WWE trainer Sarah Stock.

A mixed-tag team match would be a nice change of pace for the TakeOver series, along with keeping Gargano and Almas in focus and introducing Candice LeRae to the wider audience.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
