7 Forgotten WWE Appearances By AEW Stars
4. MJF
MJF has become one of the biggest names in wrestling since debuting on AEW television. If you took a poll of every single WWE fan and asked which of AEW's stars they would most like to see as part of their Universe, former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Freeman would likely be the number one pick, but his WWE debut has already taken place. Sort of.
While the majority of these entries involve AEW talent being given tryouts in the shape of squash matches, MJF is yet to compete in an actual WWE match. He has made an appearance on a PLE, though.
NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II featured NXT Champion Samoa Joe against Shinsuke Nakamura in a dream match for psychos everywhere, but it's also known for featuring MJF as a security guard walking Joe through a backstage corridor. There's even a comical moment where Joe shoves MJF while he's trying to do his job as security, and this moment satisfyingly came full circle as Joe pushed MJF out of the way in a similar fashion on AEW television in a nod to this now infamous moment.
