Man, the WWE Universe really is fickle, isn't it? For two years now people have clamoured for Ambrose to win a world championship (rather than steal one), and as soon as he does the audience gets bored and sits on their hands for the duration of the reign.

The historic Shield triple threat was met with more apathy than that match ever should have been met with, and his SummerSlam defence against Dolph Ziggler was held in front of a crowd who were disinterested at best, downright bored at worst. Winning the title seemed to suck the life out of Ambrose's crowd support for some reason.

The WWE Universe is generally quick to turn on those it pushes, however, as we've seen countless times in the past. Ambrose isn't the first and he most certainly won't be the last, but it almost certainly hurt his championship reign somewhat.
