7 Reasons Why Batista Won't Ever Return To WWE

1. There's Nothing Left To Achieve

In the intro to this piece, Batista's achievements in WWE were listed. He's won both the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles multiple times, as well as the Royal Rumble twice. That second Rumble victory felt hollow, due to fan backlash. The burning question remains, is there anything left for Batista to do in World Wrestling Entertainment? Upon first glance, the answer is no. Really, what could the man do if he were to make a comeback? A third Royal Rumble win seems unlikely, and people would rebel against the idea of him being WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Over the years, Batista has had memorable feuds against the likes of Triple H, The Undertaker, John Cena and many others. He's even worked against smaller wrestlers like Rey Mysterio a bunch of times. From 2002-2010, Batista did it all in the company. He's worked on every major TV show and Pay-Per-View, winning matches at many of them. All of the above factors combine to ensure that there's nothing the guy could do to top his previous runs. Ultimately, any Batista return may prove to be utterly pointless. It's likely that people would rather remember many of the awesome matches he contested during his first spell with the promotion. What other reasons can you think of for Batista never returning to WWE? Do you agree with the ones listed here? Let us know what you think down in the comments section below!
