7 Reasons Wrestlemania 32's Main Event Sucks

5. A Roman Reigns Loss Would Still Draw Criticism

Bizarrely, the other side of the coin isn't one that's likely to satisfy wrestling fans either. If Triple H were to leave WrestleMania victorious, there would be some sections of the grappling fraternity crying foul. "He's up to his old tricks again", they'd boldly exclaim, unhappy that Triple H was once again booked to topple an emerging star. This despite the fact that those same folks don't want Reigns to win. WWE have shown some seriously poor planning here, they've left themselves with no real out. On the surface, there would be no real problem booking a babyface Roman Reigns against a heel Triple H, but this is WrestleMania. April 3, 2016 is the date of the biggest show of the entire year, fans expect something special to set the tone for the rest of that year. Neither outcome is especially satisfying to the core audience, and that's a real problem. A mini-issue involves none other than Daniel Bryan. For example, if it were he going against Triple H, fans would love him to win. Roman Reigns doesn't have that kind of popularity, regardless of how much WWE claim he might. It's a tough spot to be in for Reigns, he hasn't been helped by booking.
