7 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (15 July)
5. Tease Time
"I know sometimes things around here get to be a little bit of a hot mess but Slammiversary is truly going to be iconic. We're in Nashville here...might be a little hardcore country."@DeonnaPurrazzo expressed her frustrations about #Slammiversary to @ScottDAmore. #IMPACTonAXSTV pic.twitter.com/r8MkPj3W8I

Damn you, Scott D'Amore - and, by association, Tommy Dreamer - leaving all of the teases for the final IMPACT episode before Slammiversary.
During his contract signing meeting with Deonna Purrazzo, D'Amore dropped an abundance of teases as to why who 'The Virtuosa's' challenger could be, referencing that the knockouts division can become a hot mess (Chelsea Green), how Slammiversary is going to be iconic (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, now known as the IInspiration seemingly), and how Nashville can be a bit of a hardcore country (Mickie James). Ending this was the IMPACT EVP uttering "No Way Jose" when Deonna asked if he was going to tell her the opponent.
Spoiler: it likely won't be No Way Jose.
It's questionable as to why IMPACT hasn't done the teases each week as they did last year; aside from this, all we've had is a trash bag labeled 'Mickie' being found. Perhaps it's because they haven't got as many surprises coming in, but regardless, this was a fun skit.
