This one is a bit complicated, but it features two of the biggest names in wrestling history. Hogan and Flair worked for WWE when Flair showed up in late 1991. They were going to have a match at WrestleMania 8 in 1992 until WWE changed their mind and did other matches instead. They still had some matches in WWE although they were not televised or on PPV. When Hogan jumped to WCW in 1994, they did Flair/Hogan matches repeatedly for months. Flair even lost a retirement match and then came back for more. In typical WCW fashion, they did it too much and basically dried up any value they had with that rivalry. http://youtu.be/AKJ2dqvu_UI Once WCW died in 2001, Flair was back in WWE and Hogan returned in 2002. Three months after Hogan arrived, he defended the WWE Title against Flair in a match on Raw. It's weird that these two icons didn't have a singles PPV match in WWE, but their showdown on Raw was a pretty good battle in front of a hot crowd in Toronto.
