7 WrestleMania Matches The Undertaker Almost Had

5. Snitsky And Heidenreich (WrestleMania 21)

As previously mentioned, there were a few different opponents in mind for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 21. Once officials strayed away from Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker, their next choice would have seen Undertaker reunite with his brother Kane to take on Snitsky and Heidenreich.

Yes, that match sounds absolutely atrocious on paper - and it probably would have been had it happened. That said, it would have made storyline sense. Undertaker and Heidenreich spent several months feuding on the SmackDown brand while Kane and Snitsky were constantly at it on Raw. In fact, all four actually interacted at the 2005 Royal Rumble event when Kane and Snitsky interfered in the 'Taker vs. Heidenreich Casket match.

That was seemingly supposed to set up a tag team match for WrestleMania, but plans were scrapped before anything was made official. Randy Orton surely benefited from the change of plans, as he had a star-making performance versus The Deadman at WrestleMania 21.

As for Snitsky and Heidenreich, their pushes were cut short not long after.
