7 Wrestlers Who Should Never Sign With WWE (And Why)

Kenny Omega is, arguably, the name you most hear associated with a move to WWE. Not because it’s ever really been on the cards, but because he’s at the very top of the entire industry and...well...is Canadian.

But, and for all the same reasons that Okada shouldn’t make the jump because of how restricted his creative freedom would be, (and how, ultimately, he doesn’t need the money), Kenny has one other quite important reason.

The man has put together some of the greatest matches of all time and almost all of them are stamina-driven feats of endurance with storytelling that’s as rich as your new step-dad but as subtle and nuanced as his telling-off voice.

WWE simply cannot accommodate him. They don’t have the hours on TV for the stories, and definitely don’t have the time spare on PPV for the matches. Plus, it’s just not for everyone, and the sad fact is a lot of fans might just not be into it. In Japan he’s both important and appreciated, and that’s how he should stay.
