7 Wrestlers WWE Called Up In The WORST Way Possible

1. Dominik Dijakovic

Dominik Dijakvoic was one of the most popular performers that NXT had, but you always had the suspicion that fans believed in him more than those behind the scenes. He was involved in title scenarios for the NXT, North American and tag straps without winning any of them, for starters. Nevertheless, fan popularity (particularly online) and his talent always had the smart money on him smashing through WWE's glass ceiling.

That feeling rapidly deteriorated when he hit the main roster.

Dijak is someone who didn't need others to fill in the gaps in his game, so putting him with the RETRIBUTION stable felt like a misfire from the beginning. Then there was the name change. Dijak feels cool and memorable. His new name, T-BAR, made him sound like a rural wine outlet.

RETRIBUTION was doomed, and T-BAR's limp run after they disbanded did nothing to improve his fortunes. It's criminal in retrospect, as Dijak was one of the most charismatic, dynamic and interesting big men of his generation. His passion for his craft meant that he was outspoken in interviews away from the ring and on social media, which also seemed to rub WWE's head office the wrong way. His story may yet see a revival as he's still doing great things on the indies.
